Lou Lou is shouting it out loud, she's had the go ahead to remain on her chemo.
We do not know if it will be rewarding but all of her tests yesterday apart from one returned with good results.
Lou Lous eosinophil count is high, this links to her bone marrow but as she is having to stop the chemo whilst she prepares and recovers from her dental next week the oncologist confirmed she is not overly concerned about that at this point in time as having the break will be deemed as potentially beneficial for Lou as it will allow recovery within the bone marrow.
Next steps ... Return in 4-6 weeks for her next tests ... bloods, urinalysis and bp monitoring and then it will be scan time alongside the tests at the following appt in 8 - 12 weeks time.
Inis, Lous oncologist also told me to commit to going on my pilgrimage next month which is encouraging as I have been in 2 minds whether to go or not.
After moving through this journey with Lou, I didn't want to leave her if there was a high risk of the potential of not being here when she needed me most.
This journey truly is another learning curve in this life, its not easy but I dont think this life is meant to be ... life lessons are what make us stronger, they show us the strength we think we don't have and they support us to become more compassionate towards others and their lifes trials.
