⚽️MBB Academy v’s Hollyoaks⚽️

On Sunday our men’s mental health team played to raise funds for our give back programme and raise awareness of the importance of football & sport in mental health support for men.

We have some really powerful testimonials to share about what having this football group means to the attendees.

It was a brilliant day & very well attended with a wonderful performance by , coffee & cake by and live music by El CID.

The team played brilliantly against Hollyoaks, we already have a re match planned for next year 🙌🏻

Special thanks to .ravenscroft.56 .leask98 ,all the players and everyone from MBBA who helped to make it the success it was, we are still waiting on the total raised but we know it was a fantastic amount!

Our men’s mental health football team are playing the cast of Hollyoaks this Sunday Aug 2nd to raise funds for our life changing give back programme.

Food, music, an amazing raffle with prizes from local businesses ( raffle tickets can be purchased on the day) and a chance to meet the cast.

Our men’s mental health awareness team played their first ever match last Sunday to support another charity.

It was a really proud moment for MBBA to see the team in full kit after only starting the group in February.

The support and teamwork in the sessions is wonderful, giving men a space to connect, engage in football again, talk about their problems should they want to do so and win some trophies!

They came away with a 3-1 win!

I’ll be sharing some of the testimonials from the men involved in the coming weeks. It really is the mental match and we are really proud to provide a space and purpose for men regardless of age or ability

We did it! The MBBA triple border challenge for MBBA is complete!
It was the hardest but most rewarding experience we have ever had, the climbing, the miles and the heat were no easy task but we pushed through.
