💫 It’s time we talk about something a lot of people try to ignore 💫
This is not going to make me popular but i think it needs to be said. The truth is that so many men are suffering in silence. whether they are trapped in emotionally abusive relationships through fear of not being believed or simply drowning under the weight of daily life with nowhere to turn.
I know this topic can be controversial. And let’s be completely clear..... abusive men do exist, and I’ve personally experienced vile controlling behavior from men. Abusive behavior from anyone, male or female, is unacceptable.
But right now, the scales feel unbalanced in womens favour, and men are being left behind.
We live in a culture that still tells men to "man up," hide their pain, and be the unshakeable anchor at all costs.
This isn't just about relationship breakdown.... men in general, across all walks of life, are struggling because showing vulnerability is still labeled as weakness. When a man reaches breaking point, he often feels he has zero outlets and nowhere safe to talk.
At the same time, we need to have honest conversations about accountability in relationships and the legal system. Too often, false allegations of control or abuse from a woman to a man are used as leverage during breakups. This happens to secure the house, the kids, or financial assets simply because women are automatically presumed to be the victims,
when actually if you look at the bigger picture women have used being the weaker s*x to their advantage which has created a substantial amount of power and manipulation from women to men and other women. When false claims go unchecked, it destroys lives, isolates fathers, and undermines real victims of all genders.
This combination of rigid societal expectations, systemic bias, and emotional isolation is literally costing lives. The su***de rates among men are horrific, Men account for 75% of all su***de death rates and the feeling of being completely trapped with nowhere to turn where they will be taken seroiusly is a major reason why.
To every man out there reading this: It is OK to not be OK. It is OK to speak up, to be vulnerable, and to demand to be heard. We are all human and should all be treated the same whether male or female.
Things need to change. Women need to be held to account for lying and trying to destroy a man and men need to be listened to no matter what their problem is. We need true equality, accountability for false claims, and a society where men are genuinely supported when they ask for help. It’s time we start listening.
As a woman, I feel like we have to change the narrative. If this is something you agree with, please feel free to share and get the word out so men start to feel heard. 🧡
