Join us on the 21st of June as we celebrate Father’s Day with an afternoon full of fun, laughter, and entertainment! 💙

We are excited to welcome the fabulous drag artist Crystal, who will be putting on a fantastic show for everyone to enjoy. 🌟🎤

Tea and coffee will also be served throughout the afternoon, giving residents, families, friends, and visitors the perfect opportunity to relax and celebrate together. ☕🍰

🐶 Therapy Dog Visits at Willow Brook Care Home 🐶

We are delighted continue welcoming therapy dogs twice a week, bringing lots of smiles, comfort, and companionship to our residents.

Therapy dog visits have many benefits in care homes, including reducing feelings of loneliness, encouraging social interaction, stimulating memories, and promoting relaxation and emotional wellbeing. There's nothing quite like a friendly wagging tail and a cuddle to brighten someone's day!

Our residents always look forward to these special visits, and it's wonderful to see the joy and happiness they bring. ❤️

🎨 Arts & Crafts at Willow Brook Care Home 🎨

Our residents enjoyed another wonderful arts and crafts session in partnership with Creative Paths.

Using watercolours, Residents had the opportunity to express their creativity and create their own unique pieces of artwork. The session was filled with colour, conversation, and plenty of smiles as residents explored different painting techniques and brought their ideas to life.

Activities like these provide a fantastic opportunity for self-expression, relaxation, and social interaction, while also helping to promote wellbeing and confidence.

A big thank you to Creative Paths for another enjoyable and inspiring session. We are always amazed by the talent and creativity of our residents and look forward to seeing what they create next!

🌟 National Carers Week at Willow Brook Care Home 🌟

We started off our National Carers Week celebrations today by recognising and thanking our wonderful team of Care Assistants for their dedication, compassion, and hard work.

Our management team prepared personalised certificates for each member of staff as a small token of appreciation, and we enjoyed a lovely celebratory cake together. 🎂

The celebrations don't stop there—we'll be continuing to celebrate our amazing carers every day throughout the week!

It was also heart warming to see our Residents and Visitors take the time to write thoughtful messages of thanks and appreciation for our staff. These kind words mean so much and reflect the positive difference our carers make every day. 💙

Thank you to all of our incredible care team for everything you do. You truly make Willow Brook Care Home a special place to live and work.

💙 Carers Week 2026 💙

This Carers Week, we want to take a moment to celebrate and thank our wonderful care assistants at Willow Brook Care Home.

Being a care assistant is so much more than a job. It's about providing comfort, companionship, dignity, and support every single day. 💪 Exercise Session with Arthur 💪

Last week, our residents enjoyed a fantastic exercise session with Arthur. Everyone took part in a range of gentle movements and activities designed to promote mobility, strength, and wellbeing.

There were plenty of smiles, laughter, and great effort from everyone involved. Thank you, Arthur, for this enjoyable and energising session!
