🌱🌼 Our Very First Gardening Club! 🌼🌱

What a fantastic start to our very first Gardening Club! 🌿 Our lovely residents thoroughly enjoyed getting their hands dirty as they planted, potted, and worked together to brighten up our outdoor spaces.

It was wonderful to see so many smiles, laughter, and teamwork as everyone embraced the joys of gardening. Spending time outdoors, connecting with nature, and creating something beautiful is not only rewarding but also great for wellbeing.

A huge thank you to everyone who took part, especially Jackie West at Key Craft - we can't wait to watch our garden grow over the coming weeks! 🌸🌻

Here at Edward House, our first Knit & Natter group was a wonderful success! ✨🧶
It was lovely to see our residents come together for an afternoon of knitting, chatting, laughter, and making new friendships. Whether they were experienced knitters or just enjoying the company, everyone had a fantastic time.

Saturday Morning Brunch Club! 🥐☕💛

Our lovely residents here at Edward House had a wonderful time enjoying our very first Brunch Club last Saturday.

There was plenty of laughter, great conversation, and delicious food shared together, making for a fantastic start to the weekend. It was so lovely to see everyone relaxing, socialising, and creating special memories.
Due to the success of our first gathering, we're delighted to announce that our Saturday Morning Brunch Club will now take place once a month! We can't wait to welcome everyone back for more good food, great company, and lots of smiles.

There’s something special about teamwork! 🧩💙

Last Friday, our lovely residents at Edward House came together to help each other complete a jigsaw puzzle, sharing ideas, laughter, and plenty of encouragement along the way. It was wonderful to see everyone working side by side, proving that every piece—and every person—has an important part to play.
Activities like these are a great way to keep minds active, build friendships, and create happy memories together. Well done to everyone who took part! 🌟

Our residents enjoyed a fantastic exercise session recently, getting moving, stretching, and sharing plenty of smiles along the way.
Staying active is a wonderful way to support both physical and mental wellbeing, and it's always even more enjoyable when it's done together. We're so proud of everyone who joined in and gave it their best!

Amity Island comes to Eastwood.......

Just when you thought it was safe to go back in the water....the staff and residents hold a Shark Week!

Our residents have had a fin-tastic time celebrating Shark Week with a makeshift cinema experience! 🎬🍿
We settled in to watch the classic Jaws, complete with plenty of fresh popcorn and a cosy cinema atmosphere. There were lots of smiles, laughter, and a few playful jumps during the suspenseful moments! It's wonderful to create special experiences that bring everyone together and spark happy memories. 💙

What a very special week at Edward House🩷💙

Our lovely residents had a wonderful time taking part in a very exciting gender reveal celebration this week. There was so much excitement, laughter, and anticipation as everyone gathered to share in such a precious moment.
It was heartwarming to see so many smiles and to celebrate together. Thank you for allowing us to be part of such a memorable occasion and create another beautiful memory with our residents.

What an amazing day at our Summer Fete!

A huge thank you to everyone who came along to support us, joined in the fun, and helped make Saturday such a wonderful success. It was fantastic to see so many smiling faces enjoying the games, stalls, refreshments, entertainment, and great community spirit.
A special thank you to all of our volunteers, staff, performers, and everyone who donated their time and effort to make the day possible. We couldn't have done it without you!

Creativity flowing throughout our home.....

Last week at Edward House our wonderful residents enjoyed a fun-filled arts and crafts session! From painting and colouring to creating beautiful handmade masterpieces, it was a lovely opportunity for everyone to express themselves, share stories, and enjoy each other's company. Every creation is unique—just like the amazing people who made them. 🌸
Arts and crafts are about so much more than making something beautiful; they encourage creativity, spark happy memories, promote wellbeing, and, most importantly, bring lots of smiles and laughter. 😊
We're so proud of our talented residents and can't wait to see what they create next!

There's nothing quite like the sound of dominoes clicking, laughter filling the room, and friendly competition bringing smiles to everyone's faces. ❤️
Our lovely ladies had a wonderful time enjoying a game of dominoes today. Moments like these are about so much more than the game—they're about friendship, keeping our minds active, sharing stories, and creating happy memories together.
