The man who used to own the legendary c**k-on-a-stick stall at Nottingham's Goose Fair has died.
Ray Brooks, who worked at the stall for more than 70 years, died aged 95 at the Queen's Medical Centre in Nottingham on Wednesday after a fall at home.
He first set up stall at the annual fairground at Forest Rec in 1950 and says he's never missed a year.
The c**k on a stick is a c**kerel-shaped lollipop, an institution for nearly 70 years at Nottingham's world famous Goose Fair.
