With my sensitive child it removed the pressure, it is ok for my child to need me.

It’s totally normal & if you were given realistic expectations of infancy this would not even be questioned

Hot take - the perfectionist new mum is not ok

She just looks like she is

She’s not the one crying in the baby aisle she’s the one analysing the sleep tracker

Not asking for help

Spiralling due to the lack of control

Are you a perfectionist?

As a high achiever this was & still is tough, the standards I set myself in motherhood are impossible to achieve

Parenting is always a hard adjustment BUT I’ll die on the hill that it pushes your relationship to breaking point with a highly sensitive Velcro baby

She was our second baby…

Truly our first didn’t put a lot of strain on us!

He loved independent play, slept in his cot, never cried, was just happy!

She was fussy all the time & attached 24/7

It was suffocating & so intense

I truly don’t believe we would have survived without making these changes. As believe me we were close to throwing the towel in many times!

Every day clients share, the reality of making change was easier than they had imagined

I remember my mind running wild with the overload of whys, knowledge on sleep, & feeling pretty lost!

Truly when I did make those changes, my only regret was waiting because I finally got to enjoy motherhood on a new level

You are only human

This is a season & will get easier

I will die on THIS hill

Showing up for a baby or toddler, who has extreme needs! They need 24/7 high support, whilst being awake all night

It feels hard because it is really hard!

But please do your research! What are your qualifications? How many families have you supported?

It matters!

I’m not saying you shouldn’t give a newer coach a try, you absolutely should if they feel a good fit. Just be aware of this reality, you can’t expect the same from me as someone who qualified a few months ago
