Romans 8:18

so I lost both my Nan’s on the same day within four hours of each other I named my little boy Roman because my Nana’s were into the history and the Romans and my great Nana I was  Christian so Roman was named Roman for that reason. I always said that she sent him to bring joy because she knew I was breaking not only that she used to call my other little boy a little cherub and I kissed you not Roman who she sent me is a spitting image of a little cherub but it wasn’t till now I came across this

“For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us.”

Meaning: The struggles and suffering we go through now, no matter how heavy they feel, won’t compare to the joy, healing, peace and glory that God has in store for us. It’s a verse about hope, endurance and trusting that your current pain isn’t the end of your story. ❤️🙏

Over the last month, I’ve had far too many people mistake my kindness for weakness and think I’m someone they can walk all over.

Let me make one thing very clear: I am kind, but I am NOT stupid.

I have a good heart, and I’ll always be there for people — whether I know you personally or not. I don’t judge people based on what others say about them. I prefer to see things for myself, make my own judgement, and decide who deserves my time, my trust and my energy.

But don’t ever mistake my kindness for naivety.

My intuition is incredibly strong, and when something doesn’t feel genuine, I notice. I can feel when people are being fake, spiteful, manipulative or simply don’t have good intentions.

And once I see that side of you, the line is drawn.

I don’t need to argue.
I don’t need revenge.
I don’t need to prove anything.

I simply remove myself and my energy.

So if you’ve mistaken my soft heart for a soft person, let me correct that misconception…

I may be soft, but I am one of the strongest people you’ll ever come across.

Kindness is a choice.
Boundaries are a necessity.
And access to me is a privilege — not a right. 🖤✨
