Blumming Eck. Went to buy whiskers cat food last week, from B&M bargains and it was £3.99, went in there today and it had jumped up to £7.99! Wow not much of a bargain was that.

Got together with my friends for our coffee morning today, and had a lovely chat, then l went to the shops. I felt so hot and sticky so l drove to Arnold Park, and sat near the lake, it was so nice and cool with a lovely breeze perfect.
I was watching the Canada geese when along came one quite near me, l noticed it was blind in one eye, poor thing, so l started to talk to it and then it came closer. I said show me your feathers and it did, to my surprise wow.

Went to Beeston canal, a couple of weeks ago. Love this place. Went to the cafe for a snack, then sat near the river, it was lovely the sun was shining but it wasn't too hot because there was a lovely breeze, stopped for ages, then had a nice chat with a couple. A perfect afternoon.

I posted last week on fb about pot holes and terrible boneshaking roads. My grandson damaged his tyre at the week end in a pothole. And on this mornings news it shown a bicycle race, and one of the cyclists hit a pothole and it struck other contestants and lots of them crashed.
We pay a lot on road tax and we can’t see much for our money, and we pay it for years. So where is it going?
Pity there’s not a protest about it, but we keep paying don’t we.
