Thanks to for hosting an amazing plant swap .venue today (cool venue, will definitely be back for other events no doubt)

I took 3 Aloe Vera terrariums, 1 Aloe Vera bunch, 1 Aloe Brevifolia, a Monstera Aurea, Gasteria Obliqua, Opuntia Monocantha, Ledebouria Socialis (Leopard Lily) and a Spider plant

The last pic is what I got back.. a ZZ plant (Zamioculcas Zamiifolia), a Saxifolia sumut sumut, a few different trascandentias, an echeveria, sempervivum, Mini Jade Gollum & some things I have no idea what they are & need to research. I also got 2 paintings! How cool 👀👀

For me, the highlight of the event was Charlie of The Watered Garden wanting my Opuntia Monocantha! She has almost everaythang in her shop, so to have something to swap with the plant shop itself was a cool moment. I got some Hoya props in return 😎🌵

The leaves on this Aloe Vera plant are so thick & vibrant.. I think the terracotta pot is doing wonders for letting the plant dry out much quicker before rewatering

This is something to consider if you struggle with too much watering or damp plants.. and not just for Aloe Vera

If you have problems with damp soil / plants, try using terracotta pots instead..
