We would like to say a heartfelt thank you to our amazing staff team at Clifton Manor Residential Home for giving up their valuable time to take part in our Car Wash Fundraising Challenge. Your hard work, enthusiasm, and dedication made the day a fantastic success! 👏

A big thank you also goes to our wonderful local community for coming along, supporting the event, and getting your cars washed. Your generosity and encouragement helped us raise an incredible £130 for charity! 🎉❤️

It was fantastic to see everyone coming together for such a great cause, and we truly appreciate every person who took part, donated, or supported us throughout the day.

Together, we can achieve amazing things. Thank you once again for helping make our fundraiser such a memorable success! 🌟

We would also like to thank our wonderful residents and their families for their continued trust, support and valuable feedback. Together, you’ve helped make Clifton Manor the warm, caring home it is today.

A new month brings new opportunities to make wonderful memories together here at Clifton Manor Residential Home.

This July, we'll be making the most of the warmer weather by spending lots of time outdoors and enjoying a variety of fun activities in our gardens and local community. From gentle walks and garden games to afternoon tea in the sunshine, there's something for everyone to enjoy.

Spending time outdoors is so important for our residents. Fresh air, natural sunlight and being surrounded by nature can help boost mood, improve sleep, encourage gentle physical activity and support overall wellbeing. It also provides the perfect opportunity to socialise, reminisce and simply enjoy the beauty of the season.

June has been a month filled with smiles, sunshine and special moments at Clifton Manor Residential Home. From seaside trips and enjoying the fresh air, to meeting adorable chicks and celebrating Pride Month together, every activity has brought opportunities for laughter, connection and creating lasting memories.

For people living with dementia, meaningful activities are about so much more than keeping busy. They help to stimulate the mind, encourage communication, promote independence and provide a sense of purpose. Familiar experiences, sensory activities and social interactions can bring comfort, spark treasured memories and improve overall wellbeing.

We’re proud to create opportunities that celebrate every resident as an individual, supporting them to enjoy life, make new memories and continue doing the things that bring them joy.
