What a lovely way to spend a Monday morning! 🌳

😶‍🌫️MINDFUL MONDAYS – WELLBEING WALK 🚶‍♀️

Monday 13th July 10:30am - 12pm

Experience the woodland like never before with the guidance of our wellbeing coach, Jay🙏

This is a new guided mindful walk in Sherwood Forest🌳 to connect to nature and help you unwind and escape those everyday stresses.

By taking your time, paying attention to your footsteps👣 and your surroundings you can release tension and bring calmness into your life.

Mindfulness practices can have a profound effect on your health and wellbeing. Studies have shown that we can take steps towards lifting depression by lowering the stress hormone, cortisol and even reduce blood pressure.

Why in the forest? Trees release natural anti-microbial oils called phytoncides, which have been shown to boost the human immune system by increasing natural protective cells.🫁

These practices can help you move from the sympathetic nervous system (fight or flight) to the parasympathetic nervous system (rest and digest) relaxing and mending the body.👩

The walk will be concluded with a short meditation.
