This morning we came together for our monthly church service, and what a lovely way to start the day. ❤️ Our residents sang their hearts out to some of their favourite hymns before sharing Holy Communion in a peaceful and meaningful service.

A huge thank you to the wonderful ladies from St Mary’s Church for bringing so much warmth, kindness and joy to Park House. Your visits are always truly appreciated. 💒

Our Resident of the Day was the lovely Wendy. 🌸 Wendy enjoyed a relaxing face and hand massage before spending time exploring our sensory fidget book, which she found both calming and engaging.

It’s the little moments of comfort, companionship and connection that make each day so special at Park House. 💙

✨ Wonderful Wednesday at Park House! ✨

What a fantastic day we’ve had, full of smiles, laughter, and plenty of pampering! 💜

Our morning was all about a little self-care. Residents enjoyed having their nails done, while Graeme had a fresh beard shave and looked like a brand-new man afterwards! Looking very smart, Graeme! 👏

Our Resident of the Day was the lovely Catherine, who was thoroughly spoiled with some well-deserved pampering before enjoying a lovely trip out. We hope you had a wonderful day, Catherine! 🌸

This afternoon, the fun continued as residents and staff got together for a lively game of ABBA Bingo. 🎶🕺 There was lots of singing & dancing along to the classic hits, plenty of laughter, and a little friendly competition too!

It’s days like these that create special memories and remind us that every day at Park House is filled with fun, friendship, and moments to cherish. 💙

What a beautiful day we’ve had here at Park House! ☀️

The day began with some one-to-one exercise sessions. Alison was fantastic, showing off her excellent throwing and catching skills with the ball and bringing plenty of enthusiasm and smiles along the way. ⚽️

Later, our residents got creative in the lounge, painting Jamaican flags in preparation for Jamaican Independence Day this Thursday. 🇯🇲 Hazel’s artistic talents were on full display, and she shared how therapeutic and relaxing she found the activity.

A special mention goes to our Resident of the Day, the lovely Maureen. 💖 Maureen enjoyed a soothing hand massage and spent some time listening to some wonderfully silly poems, which brought plenty of laughter and joy.

To round off the day, everyone came together for Happy Hour, enjoying a selection of refreshing non-alcoholic beverages and great company. 🍹✨

Days filled with activity, creativity, relaxation, and friendship are what make Park House such a special place to call home. ❤️

Tommy enjoyed a well-deserved shopping spree, picking out a stylish new top, a new shaver, and of course some tasty snacks! 🛍️✨

Back at home, our wonderful hairdresser worked her magic, treating our lovely ladies to a pampering session that left everyone feeling refreshed and fabulous. 💇‍♀️💖

To round off the afternoon, it was eyes down and smiles all round as we enjoyed a fun-filled game of Baby Picture Bingo! 👶🎉 There were plenty of laughs as everyone as it was an American version!

A day full of shopping, pampering, fun, and friendship – just the way we like it! ❤️

A lovely day filled with fun, relaxation, and a little bit of pampering! 💜

Today we’ve been keeping minds active and hands busy with calming finger labyrinths, simple word searches, and plenty of friendly competition with card games.

Alison enjoyed a well-deserved pamper session, leaving her feeling refreshed and smiling. ✨

It’s been wonderful to see so much laughter, concentration, and enjoyment throughout the day. 😊

🚐✨ This afternoon our ladies swapped the care home for a trip out on the minibus and headed to the local senior club at the Top House Pub!

A lovely afternoon was had by all, with a refreshing drink, a packet of crisps, plenty of laughs, and some friendly competition. 🥤🥔🎉

Not only did our fabulous trio enjoy themselves, but they also showed everyone how it’s done by winning both the quiz AND the bingo! 🏆🤩

A huge thank you to the team at the Top House Pub for making us feel so welcome and for your wonderful hospitality. We had a fantastic time and are already looking forward to coming back next month!

📸 Not many photos to share this week from Park House, but that certainly doesn’t mean we haven’t been busy!

🇺🇸 Our residents put their knowledge to the test with an all-American Picture Bingo in celebration of Independence Day, with plenty of laughs and friendly competition along the way.

💅 Meanwhile, our lovely ladies enjoyed a well-deserved spa day, complete with freshly painted nails, relaxing hand massages, and a little extra pampering. Safe to say there were lots of smiles and a few ladies feeling thoroughly spoiled!

Well… we’re all feeling it today! 😅💪

Our residents had a fantastic chair exercise session with Arthur, and he certainly put us through our paces! We stretched, reached, and discovered muscles we didn’t even know we had. 🤸‍♀️

To top it all off, one of our lovely ladies seemed to take quite a shine to our handsome instructor, which had everyone laughing and added a little extra sparkle to the session! ❤️😂

A great afternoon full of exercise, smiles, and plenty of giggles!

🥁 What a fantastic morning learning to play African drums with LJ! 🎶

Our residents absolutely amazed us with their rhythm, energy, and enthusiasm. From the very first beat, the room was filled with music, laughter, and plenty of smiling faces.

There were lots of happy moments, great teamwork, and even some impressive drumming skills on display. We had so much fun creating our own music together – what a wonderful way to start the day! ❤️🥁✨

🌸☀️ What a blooming lovely day we had today! ☀️🌸

Our two lovely ladies enjoyed a wonderful trip to Brookfield Garden Centre, and there was so much to see, touch and smell! 🌺🌷🌻

With everything in full bloom, we took our time admiring all the beautiful plants and flowers. We also made some very cute new friends along the way… rabbits 🐇, budgies 🦜 and colourful fish 🐠, which we absolutely adored watching.

Of course, no outing would be complete without a little treat, so after our stroll we indulged in delicious cake 🍰 and coffee ☕.

Lots of smiles, plenty of laughter and two very happy ladies at the end of a perfect day. 💖😊
