We’re exploring the possibility of offering a new service at Humber Therapy Centre and would love your thoughts 👂

One of our existing medical practitioners is considering expanding her practice to include hearing checks and ear wax removal using microsuction — a safe and effective method carried out by trained professionals.

Before moving forward, we want to understand if this is something our community would find useful.

👉 Would you or someone you know benefit from a service like this?
👉 Is this something you’d prefer to access locally in a calm, clinical setting?

Your feedback will help us decide whether to introduce this service at the centre.

Feel free to comment below or send us a message — we really appreciate your input.

As Christmas approaches, we would like to extend our warmest thanks for your continued support..

In keeping with previous years, we'd like to inform you that the Humber Therapy Centre will be closed between Christmas and New Year.

This year, our last working day will be Monday, 23rd December 2024, and we will be back open on Thursday, 2nd January 2025.

While our physical office will be closed during this time, we will be checking emails periodically, and we'll do our utmost to address any pressing matters that might arise.

Thank you for your understanding.

Humber Therapy Centre would like to introduce Suzie Ford:
Hello, I’m Suzie and I am a level 7 Psychotherapist accredited with the UKCP and trained with the Sherwood Psychotherapy Training Institute.

I work with adults of all ages who experience challenges and overwhelm in their lives. Whether you are going through something new or you have been feeling this way for a while, I am here and wanting to support you.

I am trained in integrative psychotherapy which focuses on the building of a safe and empathic relationship for long-term change. My approach is informed by developmental neurobiology. I aim to work with you to strengthen your sense of self to have a satisfying and meaningful life. With your sessions, I offer you the space to explore what is going on for you at your pace.

I work with anxiety, depression, self-esteem issues, relationship problems, shame, trauma, personality disorders, childhood issues, abuse, loss, bullying and neglect.

Introductory session: Either a free no-obligation online or telephone session for 15 minutes or an in-person 50 minutes session for £45. Regular sessions at the Humber are 50 minutes in length and are £55.
