In support of Chandra Kumala School’s DEAR (Drop Everything and Read) program, I’m sharing a few picture books I often recommend when parents ask where to begin.
Picture books aren’t only for young children. They offer something for all of us, a simple way to slow down, connect, and share a moment together.
These three are some of my favourites to read with children, each one opening up space for connection, imagination, and gentle conversation in its own way.
