We offer free, confidential healthcare and compassionate support, in Warwickshire, to adults (18 years and older) and young people aged 16 and 17 (if clinically appropriate) who have experienced sexual assault, including rape.

A higher proportion of full-time students were victims of sexual assault than those of any other occupation type as shown in ONS 2025 crime survey data.

Students can self-refer into SARCs – they do not need to go via the police or a GP. They can call 24/7 for an appointment. The team will listen and care for them in a space that is safe. They will talk through the different options, including the chance to have forensic evidence collected and safely stored if they wish.

R**e culture is a term used to describe the ways in which sexual violence is normalized and perpetuated. There are so many things that contribute to our r**e culture. How can we chip away at it?

It’s important to note: individual survivors are not responsible for fighting r**e culture and we should not expect that of them. At the same time, we need survivor voices centered. The key is giving survivors that choice, and not judging them for their decision.

These are not the only things we can do, but here are some ways we can model a culture of consent and anti-sexual violence. How else have you fought r**e culture?

Sometimes, as survivors, we can be harder on ourselves than others are on us. Or, we may deeply internalize the cruel myths and scrutiny that survivors face.

Whatever it is that has led you to question, doubt, or discredit yourself, it is not true. You are 100% valid and you are safe here.
