Have you read Atomic Habits by James Clear? There’s a section on getting 1% better each day — not to become “slightly improved”, but to become a different version of yourself over time.
This is where most diets fall apart. They start with the outcome, lose X lbs — or the process — follow this plan. But the habits that actually stick begin one layer deeper: identity. Not “I want to lose weight”, but “I’m someone who eats real food.” Every meal becomes a small vote for that identity, not another rule to follow or break.
So next time you’re stood in front of the fridge, skip the “what am I allowed?” question. Try: what would a healthy person do right now? Then do that one small thing. That’s the habit. Not perfect, just consistent.
If you want proper, ongoing support building habits that last not another 6‑week plan, that’s exactly what Real Food Reset (new membership, launching September) is built for. Please message to join the waiting list!
