European Athletics Championships 2026 ✅

were privileged to provide 24/7 medical cover to the Championships in Birmingham over the last couple of weeks, alongside the commissioned second provider, FSNE.

ECS provided senior clinical delivery of enhanced and critical care, to specialist sports medicine and physiotherapy services across multiple locations, medical centres, clinics and ambulance response resources, in addition to command and control, culminating in our incredible people providing thousands of hours of cover to keep all those involved safe and well.

Thanks to Athletic Ventures, Great Run , London Marathon Events, WMAS, HCA Healthcare UK, FSNE Medical and Si Swallow and team.

Particular thanks to GE HealthCare for ensuring our teams had the very best in ultrasound technology, our excellent suppliers in Siemens Healthineers to enable extensive onsite care and management, and Inoco.io for the best available control room and patient reporting systems giving live time data across all locations and making managing complex incidents efficient and robust.

The Resuscitation Council UK e-immediate ILS course covers numerous essential resuscitation skills, including adult CPR delivery, recognition and management of the deteriorating patient and teamwork during emergency situations.

Appropriate for various healthcare providers including fire service, police, prison officers and cabin crew.

This is a half day course, with half a day of e-learning and gains a formal qualification.
