Three generations in one photograph. ❤️

Whether it's day or night, rain or shine, family and friends are a part of everyday life at Hatherleigh, and the kettle is always on.

You'll often hear us refer to the people who live with us as "family members" rather than residents. It's a small difference in wording, but one that reflects how we see the people who call Hatherleigh home: as part of our extended family.

A few moments captured out in the garden before the weather became a little too hot! It’s been lovely seeing our family members enjoying the outdoor spaces and making the most of the sunshine. ☀️

For now though, we’ve all retreated indoors to keep cool, with plenty of ice lollies and ice creams at the ready! 🍦

From sandwiches and crisps to maybe something a little sweet, having choice around food and snacks is so important and often reflects the little things people have always enjoyed. Familiar favourites and being able to choose what you fancy can make these moments feel like home.
