🌟 We’re looking forward to Angelfest this Saturday! 🌟

We’re delighted to have been invited by Visiting Angels to attend Angelfest this Saturday at Somers Sports Club.

This fantastic community event is now raising money for Dementia UK, a cause that’s especially close to our hearts. At Community Meal Care, we support many people living with dementia, helping them remain independent with the reassurance of a freshly prepared hot meal delivered straight to their table by a friendly, familiar face.

We’ll be there with information about our Meals on Wheels service and free cake! so if you’d like to find out more for yourself, a loved one, or someone you care for, please do come and say hello.

There’ll be plenty to enjoy, including:
🎵 Live music
🍔 BBQ
🎪 Stalls
🎈 Inflatables
🎤 Singer
🎟️ Raffle
🎱 Bingo

It’s a wonderful day out for all ages and a great way to find out about a range of things that can help because, when you have to take care of a loved one, it really does take a village.

My favourite weekly drop in Clent Connect. I just love this place. It is so uplifting and full of wonderful welcoming people and a great space to make new friends. I order my locally made fresh bread one week and pick it
up the next and some weeks it even makes it home! Next week we have a Visiting Friends Club here on Tuesday from 2pm to 3:30pm. Hope

Yesterday we had the privilege of attending the Carers Fayre at Clent Connect 💙

It was wonderful to be surrounded by so many like minded people, all sharing the same goal: improving the lives of older people and supporting them in whatever way they need.

A huge thank you to Clent Connect for hosting such a fantastic event. It’s always a pleasure to visit - there’s such a warm, welcoming atmosphere, and the homemade cakes are absolutely amazing!🍰

We help people stay independent, connected to their communities, and continue enjoying the people, places and routines that bring them happiness.
