Today is the last day of our Care Home Open Week activities and we'd like to say thank you to everyone in front of, and behind the scenes for making it all happen ~ much thought and planning has gone into each and every activity so thank you for supporting us.

To conclude our activities here at Portway, we're hosting an afternoon picnic and sing song with one of our external singers.

We're looking forward to throwing open our doors to welcome everyone for a very good feel good Friday.

It's the penultimate day of our Care Home Open Week activities and today it's fun, fun, fun with our bingo bongo event. Think nostalgic pop sing-alongs, raves with maybe even a few glow sticks as well as prizes galore!

And what a fantastic start it’s been.

From cooking and cakes to great conversations and plenty of smiles, it’s been a busy and enjoyable day for everyone.

The atmosphere at Portway has been absolutely wonderful 🤩 We can’t wait to see what the rest of the week brings!

What do our Portway residents have in common with Dame Judy Dench, Dolly Parton, Oprah Winfrey, and Helen Mirren?

They all love reading and actively taking part in brain games 🤩👏.

And if it’s good enough for them, it’s most definitely good enough for us so this will remain on our agenda indefinitely 👍.
