Today we're celebrating a double shortlisting in this year's Leaders in Care Awards, a fantastic first for us!

We're incredibly proud to have been shortlisted for Care Home Provider of the Year, while our Managing Director, Amrit Sumal, has also been recognised in the Executive of the Year category.

It's wonderful recognition for us and demonstrates the hard work, commitment and care shown by our teams across the Group every day.

Please do wish us luck for October, we're hoping to bring not one, but two awards home! 🤞🏆

Hold your horses! the Wild West came to town on Saturday as residents, families, friends and members of the local community saddled up for a fun-filled western themed summer fete 🤠 .

The home was transformed for the occasion, with themed decorations, lively entertainment and plenty of activities helping to create a real frontier atmosphere for guests of all ages.

Well done to all involved and thank you for attending 🙏

We had a great end to Care Home Open Week last week with food, drink and live music bringing everyone together 🫶

Today is the last day of our Care Home Open Week activities and we'd like to say thank you to everyone in front of, and behind the scenes for making it all happen ~ much thought and planning has gone into each and every activity so thank you for supporting us.

To conclude our activities here at Portway, we're hosting an afternoon picnic and sing song with one of our external singers.

We're looking forward to throwing open our doors to welcome everyone for a very good feel good Friday.
