🎒To all our little Reception starters… good luck!
Today is a big day!
After welcoming so many of you to our Reception Ready sessions over the past few weeks, it’s been so lovely watching you grow in confidence and get ready for your big adventure.
We hope you have the most amazing first day, make new friends, have lots of fun and remember just how special you are.
And to all the grown-ups… we hope the tears are happy ones!

🎒✨ STARTING RECEPTION THIS SEPTEMBER? ✨🎒

We’re so excited to announce our school-specific play sessions at Little Village Saddleworth! 🥳💕
These special sessions are for NEW RECEPTION STARTERS ONLY — giving children who are about to start at the same school a chance to meet, play and make some familiar little faces before that all-important first day! 🥹🏫

📚 DELPh PRIMARY
📅 Monday 24th August
⏰ 16:00–17:30

📚 HOLY TRINITY
📅 Tuesday 25th August
⏰ 16:00–17:30

📚 ST ANNE’S
📅 Wednesday 26th August
⏰ 16:00–17:30

📚 DIGGLE PRIMARY SCHOOL
📅 Thursday 27th August
⏰ 16:00–17:30

📚 ST CHADS
📅 Friday 28th August
⏰ 16:00–17:30

📚 GREENFIELD PRIMARY
📅 Saturday 29th August
⏰ 12:30–14:00

🥪🧃 Every child attending will also receive sandwiches and juice during their session.

The idea is simple: let the children have loads of fun while getting to know some of the other children they’ll soon be sharing their Reception adventure with. Hopefully, seeing a few familiar faces at the school gates will make those first-day nerves that little bit easier.

Places will be limited, so head over to book now.

🎒 Starting Reception in September?
We’ve got an update!
Thank you so much to everyone who made contact on our last school post! 🥰
We’ve already had interest from families with little ones starting at:
🏫 Delph Primary�🏫 Holy Trinity�🏫 St Anne’s�🏫 Diggle
🏫 St Chads
So, we’re now looking at putting together some school-specific play sessions at Little Village Saddleworth! 🥳
The idea is for children starting at the same school in September to come along with their parents/carers, play, have fun and start getting to know some familiar faces before their first day.
We’ll be advertising the sessions very soon, but before we do…
Are there any other schools your little one is starting at that we haven’t mentioned?
If your child is starting Reception at another local primary school and you’d be interested in a session for your school, let us know the school name in the comments!
If there’s enough interest, we’ll see what we can arrange.

☀️ Holiday Notice 🌴
Just a little notice that Little Village Saddleworth will be closed from Tuesday 11th August while we enjoy some family time together.
We'll be back open and ready for lots more role play fun on Thursday 20th August at 9:30am.
Thank you so much for your continued support and understanding. It really means the world to our business, and we can't wait to welcome all our little visitors back after our break!
