So as you have all seen one of our lovely residents wife and daughter had organised a fundraiser for our residents fund.
Well last night was a huge success. A massive THANKYOU to Clare Buckley and her mum for such a fantastic evening. Clare you made an amazing bingo caller too. A huge thankyou to all that donated prizes, bought tickets, made donations and came on the night. Us at Longwood cannot thank you enough. The total amount raised is.........£1142 😮. Thank you will never be enough ❤️💙❤️💙

So the weather was on our side today and residents, family, friends and staff completed our annual sponsored walk. Thankyou all for joining and helping us. Its has been a lovely afternoon. We will let you all know the total raised when all sponsor money is in

As we all know too well Dementia is something we all have seen, and know how hard it is. One of our lovely residents son and his partner are doing the Trek26 to raise money for the alzheimers society. This week we have had the pleasure of the children from werneth school helping the residents get abit green fingered in the garden. With treats and ice lolly's to keep them all cool. Thankyou for coming and we look forward to your next visit. We ended the day with some cake decorating.....but they didnt last long before they was all devoured 🤣🧁🧁🌻🌲🍀🌹
