Why not make the most of the weather!
Painting outside was an excellent idea, the surrounding potted plants were definitely an inspiration for our colouring choices! We had our budding artists working work and staying hydrated!
Walks in the garden is also very popular in the good weather, especially our mountaineering Ann who has many stories of adventure she share!

What a fantastic afternoon this was! For lunch we were delighted to watch our chefs show off this wonderful spread of Ploughman's Lunch! We were certainly getting our veggies in! Its always a great afternoon when we have everyone sat around the tables chatting of of course enjoying the wonderful food!
We had Ewan our very talented Pianist come and play some of our favourite tunes! Joyce definitely had her feet tapping and her arms swaying, Cynthia was humming along to every tune she knew!

Saturday 8th August St Bernards will be hosting our summer fete! We will be starting at 2pm, there will be live music, delicious selection of food and entertainment for children! So why not pop over and join the fun!

Saturday 8th of August St Bernards will be hosting our Summer Fete in our wonderful garden! We certainly will be serving tea and cakes as well as firing up the delicious BBQ again! 🎂🍰🧁🍾
Upon entry please feel free to help yourself to an ice cream! 🍦
We will be having live music throughout the whole afternoon by Ryan and Holly as well as our wonderful Ozzy! A bouncy castle will be here for the children or some adults to keep themselves busy and our of trouble! ✨️🎵🎶

This afternoon we had a lovely arts and crafts session where we decorated snail shells! We had painted versions, button versions and even pom pom versions!
Rose made sure everyone knew how beautiful her snail was! Zelah was happy dotting the buttons around the shell and we all had lots of fun giving our snails names!

Phew! I hope you missed us!
What a way to return other than posting some yummy sweet treats! Crikey we love our chefs. Fresh strawberries and yuuuummy cream is the best way to enjoy this weather! We had scones, strawberry and cream cake, strawberry tarts, Eton Mess and to wash it all down with some strawberry, lime and mint bubbly...unfortunately no gin. 🍓🍰😋🤤
We had a lovely visit from BCM who brought some thought provoking messages and some painting which of course we had to get involved! 🖌🎨
Our knitting club has an ongoing blanket, as I'm sure you're all aware if you've spoke to our activity co-ordinator Keri, which is slowly growing! 🧶

Wow! Wow! What a turn out! St Bernards would like to express our thanks for all the people who turned out for our St Bernards in Bloom! We certainly had the weather for it today! Our residents had the chance to enjoy the garden party as well as the amazing music!
We were even lucky enough to have the Mayor of Solihull visit our home!
Our chefs had SO MANY compliments, all well deserved and the sweetie shop went down a treat 😉
We hope you can all look forward to next year's event!

We are excited to announce we will be opening our garden to the public this year for St Bernards in Bloom! We will be offering tea, coffee and a wide range of home made cakes! Along with live music throughout the afternoon and a fully stocked sweet shop at the bottom of our garden! BBQ food will be available as well! So why not come and have a wonder around!
