CARSON (nee Semple) - Jean Evelyn, formerly of 30 Castlecoole Road, Enniskillen, who sadly passed away on 15th of June 2026.
We, the family of Jean - Andrew, Harold, Alan, Hazel, Stephen, Thelma and Ian wish to express our sincere gratitude for the sympathy and support extended to us in our time of loss.
We are truly grateful to all our kind relatives, friends and neighbours who attended the wake and funeral service, and for the overwhelming kindness and compassion received through the many flowers, sympathy cards, phone calls and messages on social media offering support and condolences. These kind acts of love and support brought us great comfort during such a sad and difficult time.
A heartfelt thank you to all the wonderful, dedicated staff on Wards 2 and 3 of South West Acute Hospital who looked after mummy. The care, respect and dignity shown to her was truly appreciated by the family. Sincere thanks to the Pallative Care team, from whom mummy and immediate family members received the highest level of care and compassion, especially in the final days of her life.
We are sincerely grateful to the Rev. Steve Kennedy for his exceptional pastoral care to mummy and the family before, during and after her passing. For the visitations, prayers and words of comfort and for conducting her beautiful Thanksgiving Service with warmth, thought, attention to detail and personal insight. Thank you to the organist for the beautiful, uplifting music in the church and thanks also to Judith Kempston from Floral Temptations for the beautiful floral tributes. Sincere thanks to Keith Elliott of Ballycassidy House Funeral Home for the use of their facility for the wake.
Thank you to The Silverbirch Hotel for providing refreshments after the funeral. Thank you also to those who prepared mummy's final resting place. Thank you to all who gave donations in lieu of flowers to Enniskillen Presbyterian Church.
Finally, our sincere and heartfelt thanks to Armstrong Funeral Directors for the caring, respectful, professional and dignified manner in which the wake and funeral arrangements were carried out. Derek and Lyndsey, your guidance, kindness and support were greatly appreciated.
As it is impossible to thank eveyone individually, please accept this acknowledgement as a token of our sincere gratitude and heartfelt appreciation to all who helped in any way during our sad time of loss.
Jean was a much loved mother, mother-in-law, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and friend. She is sadly missed but forever in our hearts and lovingly remembered always by children Andrew, Harold, Alan, Hazel, Stephen, Thelma, Ian and he wider family circle.
With sincere gratitude,
The family of the late Jean Evelyn Carson.
