Father’s Day can be one of the hardest days of the year.

While many families are celebrating, others are carrying the quiet weight of loss. Today may be a reminder of a father who is deeply missed, a grandfather whose stories still echo, or someone who filled the role of a father with love and guidance.

Grief doesn’t take a day off for holidays. It often becomes more noticeable on days that once held special memories.

If today is difficult for you, know that you are not alone. It’s okay to smile at treasured memories, to shed tears, or simply to take the day one moment at a time. There is no right or wrong way to remember someone you love.

Our Funeral Director Nigel Murfitt had a change of role last week when he went along to the Suffolk Show judging heavy horses. So we thought we would share this lovely picture and comment from him.
