🗺️ HOW TO TAKE PART

Being a volunteer with St John Ambulance is not only a great way of giving back to your local community.

There are many reasons why people volunteer for St John, here’s just a few:

•You have witnessed an emergency and you want to know what to do to help

•You want to kickstart a career in healthcare

•You want to help inspire the next generation of lifesavers

•You want to make new lifelong friends

•You want to use your technical and IT skills to support the work we do on events

•You are a Healthcare Professional and you want to use your skills in new ways

Events season is well underway and we are as busy as we have ever been.

Yesterday we had a large team out attending the Rum & Reggae Festival in Shrewsbury. Very busy and loud day but everyone worked very well providing expert patient care
Also Rob & Ollie were out at Vron Gate Show providing First Aid Cover.
A big thank you to all our volunteers for everything they do.

We have had a Busy weekend.

On Saturday: James & Dave were at the Life of Riley Charity Fun Day.
Then on Sunday: Rachel, Rob, James, Grace and Cadet Tyler were at The Movement Centre 5k. Also, James & Rob then went to Theatre Severn to support the International Comedy Festival.
As well as this, we have had members providing public training courses.

It's been very hot but a big well done to all our volunteers for all the hard work.
