Summer weather has arrived! So here's a gentle reminder 💕

Many mental health medications, particularly SSRIs, SNRIs, or TCAs such as sertraline, fluoxetine, citalopram, duloxetine, or mirtazapine, increase our sensitivity to heat, whilst ADHD medications increase our natural metabolic rate, raising our core temperature and suppressing our natural cooling system. All of which increases our risk of dehydration.

Please take extra care during warmer days by drinking plenty of water, wearing light and breathable clothing, using sunscreen, and avoiding prolonged time in direct sunlight where possible. Be gentle with yourself, listen to your body, and stay safe in the heat.

County Counselling are wanting to move away from stock images within our media and are looking for a couple of volunteers as models to help redo our photos on social media, posters and our website. No experience or any requirements needed and all expenses paid, if any accrued.
