Welcome to The Meadows Osteopath Clinic which specialises in helping your whole family achieve optimal health with a key focus on the care of women, including mums to be, mummies, babies and children. The clinic is owned and run by Claire Arnold a Registered Osteopath and Certified Lifestyle Medicine Practitioner who has a wealth of professional and personal experience in these fields. Being a mum
of two young children she fully understands and empathises with the juggling that occurs with personal and family health and well being. Osteopathy is a system of healing that uses a patient focused, physical approach to restoring, maintaining and promoting physical and psychosocial well being. When making a diagnosis all your symptoms are taken into account and the osteopath works with structural imbalances that are present in the body to restore a state of physical balance. Patients often report improvement in many areas of their health even though they came with muscle or joint problems so please contact me to ask if Osteopathy could benefit you or your family. In addition to the antenatal and post partum care of women, Claire also has experience in the treatment of premature babies in the intensive care/ neonatal unit at Barnet Hospital, London. She is one of only a few Osteopaths in the UK with the specialist Postgraduate Diploma in Paediatric Osteopathy qualification and experience. Osteopathy is recognised by many healthcare insurance companies please contact your provider to check your policy and procedure for claiming before commencing treatment. Osteopathy is regulated by the General Osteopathic Council [GOsC] - who set and promote the standards of education, practice and conduct expected of osteopaths. They require all osteopaths to complete a set amount of CPD each year in order to keep their knowledge and skills up to date.
