When Monday Felt Like Friday... 🤦‍♀️😂

So there I was, seeing my last client of the day, and I casually asked:

"So... how's your week going so far?"

She looked at me with a slightly puzzled smile and replied:

"It's only Monday..."

Cue both of us bursting into laughter! 😂

Honestly, I was convinced we had reached at least Thursday. Apparently, my brain had decided to cram an entire week's worth of thoughts, tasks, conversations and confusion into one single day.

Let's be honest, when menopause, stress, distractions join the party, keeping track of what day it is can sometimes feel like an extreme sport!

One minute you're planning the week ahead, the next you're wondering if you've somehow skipped three days and landed with a bump at the weekend.

The funny thing is, life can be so full that one day genuinely feels like a week. Between work, family, appointments, exercise, remembering where you've left your glasses (while they're on your head), and trying to drink enough water, it's no wonder our internal calendar occasionally goes hay-wire.

Please tell me I'm not the only one...

Welcome to another working week.. Well for most..

How Does Monday Make You Feel?

Do you wake up feeling refreshed, rested and ready for the week ahead?

Or do you find yourself already counting down the days until the weekend returns?

One of the most common things my clients tell me after a session is how deeply relaxed they feel. When the mind and body are given the opportunity to truly relax, it can have a positive impact on many areas of wellbeing. Improved sleep, a calmer mood, better focus and an increased sense of balance are all benefits that people often experience.

As we begin to feel better, we naturally want to maintain that feeling. We become more aware of what supports our wellbeing and are more likely to continue making time for it.

Every person is different, however, and every body responds in its own unique way. Some people notice changes after a single session, whilst others require a few sessions before they begin to experience the shifts they are looking for.

Your body is incredibly intelligent and will often prioritise what it feels needs attention first. Occasionally, if your system is particularly responsive, it may try to rebalance several things at once. Whilst this can sometimes feel a little uncomfortable, it is often a sign that your body is working hard to restore equilibrium.

I don't control what your body chooses to address or when it chooses to do it, but I can tailor your first and subsequent sessions to support you in the most appropriate way possible.

Wellbeing isn't about forcing change. It's about creating the right conditions for your mind and body to do what they were designed to do naturally.

So, as you start this new week, ask yourself:

'How do I want to feel next Monday?'

Habits Don't Have to Feel Like Hard Work

When people talk about building healthy habits, it often sounds like something we have to force ourselves to do. We hear phrases like 'push through', 'stay disciplined' and 'no excuses'.

The habits that tend to last aren't usually the ones we force. They're the ones we begin to enjoy because of how they make us feel.

A habit is simply something we do regularly, often without having to think about it. The more positive the experience and outcome, the more likely we are to repeat it.

For a long time, I thought going to the gym would always feel like a chore. I imagined it would be a constant battle of convincing myself to get out of the door. Whilst there are still days when motivation isn't at its highest, what keeps me going isn't the exercise itself.

It's how I feel afterwards.

I look forward to the increased energy, the clearer mind, the improved sleep, the sense of achievement, the stronger body and the positive impact it has on my emotional wellbeing. What started as something I felt I 'should' do has become something I genuinely 'want' to do because of the benefits it brings to my life.

The same can be true for many healthy habits:

✨ Taking a daily walk
✨ Spending time in nature
✨ Drinking more water
✨ Creating moments of stillness
✨ Prioritising sleep
✨ Making healthier food choices
✨ Taking time for self-care

The key isn't perfection. It's consistency.

Small actions, repeated regularly, create lasting change. Over time, those little choices can improve our physical health, emotional wellbeing, confidence, resilience and overall quality of life.

So if you're trying to build a new habit, perhaps don't focus solely on the task itself. Focus on how you want to feel as a result of doing it.

When a habit adds value to your life, it becomes much easier to keep showing up for it.

What healthy habit has had the biggest positive impact on your wellbeing? 💚

Crystal healing is such a gentle therapy yet its impact can leave people feeling puzzled... Calm, relaxed, mentally lighter yes, but always puzzled as to how it works..

It works vibrationally on your energy (your aura, bio-energy field, chakras, meridian lines, chi, etc.) it works holistically on YOU.

The crystal energies work and and align with yours to find the best balance that you need at that particular time.

Clients have said, how empowered, energised and emotionally lighter they feel after a session.

Usually it takes 3 sessions to bring complete balance with a fourth just to make sure that things are continuing to move forward.

I hold a Foundational Level certificate in crystal healing after being taught by the wonderful Lauren D'Silva, I spent nearly a year studying this wonderful therapy alongside completing case studies..

I love empowering people and this therapy will do just that..

When I first took my first steps into complementary therapy, it was because a loved one was steadily becoming more and more unwell through chronic illness.. It was illness that could only be 'controlled' and 'managed' not cured.

It was uncomfortable to watch him slowly deteriorating and watching his med list get increasingly longer as he was prescribed one pill after the other and many were to combat the side effects of those before it - a story which may sound pretty familiar to some of you.

After the ops stopped working and he was released back to his GP, he was kind of on his own. There is no emotional or any where near enough mental support to help people going through what they go through.. I realised that i had to do 'SOMETHING'

After much research, I realised that reflexology has an all round holistic and increased wellbeing effect that can last beyond 48hrs. It didnt take much for me to realise that my calliing was well.. 'calling' me.

It works on all levels, emotionally, mentally, physically, spiritually and shifts what needs to be cleared (energy wise) and sometimes that can be uncomfortable - The body responds to each session according to need.

Since I qualified nearly 20years ago, I haven't looked back.. I love what i do.. I love seeing people's energy visibly 'lift' after a session and the feedback received always, whether its good or bad, tells me how well someone responded to their session.
