Deborah Gingell Personalised Nutrition

Deborah Gingell Personalised Nutrition I always look to the most up-to-date, scientific research before offering dietary/lifestyle advice. This is at the heart of what I do.

There is only one amazing ‘you’, and each person’s body is wonderfully unique. I'm Debbie
I'm a Naturopathic Nutritional Therapist, I trained for 3 years at the award-winning College of Naturopathic Medicine as a Naturopathic Nutritionist, and I’m passionate about nutrition and the many benefits a balanced wholefood diet can bring to both mind and body. I am so excited you are here and so looking forward to taking this journey with you.

If you’ve found me recently, welcome! 👋

You might know me as a nutritionist, but that’s only part of who I am.

I’m also a mum of two, a Glastonbury volunteer, a huge music lover and completely obsessed with dogs!

Most importantly, I’m passionate about helping women navigate midlife and menopause with confidence.

Over the years I’ve worked with women who are tired of conflicting advice, struggling with symptoms, or simply don’t feel like themselves anymore.

One thing I’ve learned? There isn’t a one-size-fits-all approach.

For some, it’s about understanding what’s happening to their body.

For others, it’s finding realistic ways to eat well without dieting or restriction.

Sometimes it’s building habits that actually fit around family life, work and everything else life throws at us.

And sometimes it’s simply having someone in your corner who understands what you’re going through.

If you’re looking for honest nutrition advice, practical menopause support and a reminder that you don’t have to do this perfectly, you’re in the right place.

I’d love to get to know you too so do tell me something about yourself in the comments 🙏

Read this BEFORE buying high-protein foods 👇

Protein is everywhere at the moment.

High-protein pizzas.
High-protein flatbreads.
High-protein cereals.
High-protein desserts.
And don’t get me started on all the cereal bars with the hefty price tag!

But here’s what I want my clients to remember,

Adding protein doesn’t automatically make a food a healthier choice.

This flatbread contains protein, but it also comes with a long list of refined ingredients, added oils, flavourings and preservatives.

That doesn’t mean you can never eat it.

It simply means the ‘high protein’ label shouldn’t be the reason you buy it.

If your goal is supporting your hormones, maintaining muscle during menopause or feeling fuller for longer, start with whole-food protein first:

🥚 Eggs
🐟 Fish
🍗 Chicken
🥣 Greek yoghurt
🧀 Cottage cheese
🫘 Beans and lentils

Convenience foods absolutely have a place when life is busy.

But don’t let the packaging do the thinking for you.

👉 Turn the pack over.
👉 Read the ingredients.
👉 Then decide if it’s worth your money

Protein is essential. Protein marketing isn’t.

Next time you’re shopping, ignore the front of the pack. Turn it over instead. Save this as a reminder.
