EVERY WILD SWIM COMMUNITY NEEDS A PAUL… WE JUST GOT VERY LUCKY.

Let’s be honest, Chilly Nips simply wouldn’t be Chilly Nips without Paul. Our very own King of the Swimrise.Professional donut distributor  🍩Chief coffee officer ☕ Part-time swimmer 🥶
Full-time legend. 😂

You’ll usually find Paul somewhere at Swimrise/Saturday Socials - probably armed with a camera in one hand, a coffee in the other and a bag of donuts that mysteriously disappears within approximately 30 seconds. 👀🍩

Paul doesn’t just turn up…
He brings the heart, His enthusiasm is ridiculous. His energy is infectious. His joy is completely unmatched. And while the rest of us are busy trying not to look like we’re freezing to death, Paul is running around capturing EVERY. SINGLE. MOMENT. 📸🎥😂
The laughs.
The chaos.
The friendships.
The swims.
The questionable decisions.
The occasional ni**le. 👀
And all the moments that make Chilly Nips what it is. Then he goes away and somehow turns it all into the brilliant videos and reels you see on our socials. Basically,Paul makes us look far cooler than we actually are.

Underneath all the donuts, coffees, cameras and general Paul-shaped chaos is someone who genuinely cares about this community. He brings people together. He makes people smile. He gets involved in everything.And his love for what we’ve created here is impossible to miss. 💙

Join us beneath the magic of the Strawberry Moon for an unforgettable evening at Preston Beach.

As the sun fades and the moon rises over the sea, we'll gather at 9:00pm to dip under the glow of June’s full moon, a time traditionally associated with abundance, connection, and embracing the beauty of the season.

Expect salty air, moonlit water, good company, and those special moments that only happen when the ocean and the night sky meet.

Welcome the longest day of the year with sunrise yoga, sound healing, sea connection and community.

The Summer Solstice marks the longest day of the year and has been celebrated for centuries as a time of light, abundance, growth and new beginnings.

As the sun reaches its highest point in the sky, the solstice invites us to pause, reflect on how far we've come, and set intentions for the season ahead. It is a reminder to embrace the light within ourselves, to connect with nature, and to be present in the beauty of the moment.

There is something truly magical about welcoming the longest day of the year as the world awakens around us. The sound of the waves, the warmth of the sand beneath our feet, the first rays of sunlight on our skin, and the feeling of gratitude for simply being here.
We would love for you to join us for a special Summer Solstice Beach Yoga experience.

Together we'll spend an hour immersed in intention setting, mindful breathwork, sun salutations and a gentle yoga flow, accompanied by the healing sounds of a bespoke sound bath led by the wonderful Rhys and flow by the delightful Jo.

With the ocean before us and the sand beneath our mats, we'll welcome the new season in a way that nourishes both body and mind.

Following our practice, those who wish to can take part in a water blessing, allowing ourselves to be gently submerged in the sea as a symbol of renewal, cleansing and fresh beginnings.
Afterwards, we'll gather together for fresh croissants, fruit and coffee as we soak up the energy of the morning and connect as a community.

To my Chilly Nips family✌🏽

With so much conversation happening right now around mental health and checking in on one another, I just wanted to remind every single one of you of something important - You are not alone. Let's talk.

Chilly Nips was never just about cold water. It was created to bring people together. To create connection, support, laughter, courage, and a safe space where people could show up exactly as they are, on the good days and the hard ones too. You all do this. I am proud.

So many of us carry things silently, myself more than most. We smile, we cope, we mask, we keep going, but sometimes we just need someone to ask, “Are you really okay?” This group was built to help end that stigma. To remind people that struggling does not make you weak, and opening up does not make you a burden.

I want every single person here to feel seen, valued, and supported. Please lean on each other. Check in with your swim buddies. Reach out to someone you haven’t heard from in a while. A small message can make a huge difference to somebody’s day.

If you ever need someone to talk to, my inbox is always open. Privately, without judgement, anytime.

Thank you for making Chilly Nips what it is, a community full of kindness, courage, and people who genuinely care about one another.
