In September there are several awareness campaigns which highlight; childhood cancer, lukemia, lymphoma, uterine cancer, ovarian cancer, prostate cancer and thyroid cancer. These aim to raise awareness, fundraise and educate. There are many ways to participate in these campaigns, and more information can be found through their different websites. August is world cancer support month. The purpose is to recognise the broad impact of cancer on relatives and families, promote supportive care and encourage support networks.
