The business that is now PNTC started in my mum's front bedroom in 1985. In those days a 3 bedroomed house was £30k and a black coffee in a cafe was 25p! The first patient was a nurse at the Southern General. She came back in next week pain free. "Was this a good way to earn a living?" I thought. But she told somebody who told somebody...... and so it grew. In those days osteopaths were not allowed to advertise, it was all word of mouth.
I sold it to Jen in 2024 with a two year handcuff so I left on Sunday 14th June. The gifts from patients have been so generous, prosecco, flowers, prosecco, chocolates, prosec..... you get the pattern. Jen was saying there might be a wee hiatus until the new start gets bedded in properly but hopefully it won't be for long. The Elderslie clinic is joyous in this weather, a waiting room with patio doors! Thank you all, receptionists, therapists but most of all the patients. It's been busy, it's been stressful but most of all it's been an honour to have had you at my fingertips.
