𝗬𝗼𝘂 𝗱𝗼𝗻'𝘁 𝗵𝗮𝘃𝗲 𝘁𝗼 𝘄𝗮𝗶𝘁 𝗺𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗵𝘀 𝘁𝗼 𝗴𝗲𝘁 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗯𝗮𝗰𝗸 𝗽𝗮𝗶𝗻 𝗹𝗼𝗼𝗸𝗲𝗱 𝗮𝘁.

Every week I speak to people who are:

❌ Waiting for a physio appointment
❌ Waiting for a scan
❌ Waiting for a referral
❌ Waiting to see if it "settles down"

Meanwhile they're struggling to sleep, finding work uncomfortable, avoiding exercise, and putting up with pain that is affecting everyday life.

The biggest myths I hear?

👉 "It's just my age."
👉 "It's wear and tear."
👉 "Nothing can be done."

In many cases, that's simply not true.

Back pain isn't something that only affects athletes, and despite the title, you don't need to play sport to see a Sports Therapist.

I regularly help office workers, drivers, tradespeople, parents, grandparents, gym-goers and people who simply want to get through their day without pain.

Whether it's:
✔ Lower back pain
✔ Sciatica symptoms
✔ Neck pain
✔ Shoulder pain
✔ Hip pain
✔ General aches and stiffness

The first step is understanding what's actually causing the issue and putting together a plan to improve it.

If you're fed up waiting, fed up guessing, or fed up being sore, drop me a message and let's see if I can help.

Even if you're not sure whether treatment is right for you, I'm happy to answer questions.

Probably the best day of the year so far !!🌟

Proud to have been part of a small but highly effective medical team at the Scottish Tri-Service Rugby Tournament at Murrayfield. 🏉

Alongside three fellow therapists, a pitchside doctor, and two paramedics, we were there to support players from the RAF, Royal Navy, and Army throughout an intense day of rugby.

From pre-match preparation and recovery treatments to injury assessment and pitchside care, it was a real team effort focused on keeping players safe, performing, and ready to compete. Not to mention a lot of strapping and taping.

The action on the pitch gets the attention, but it’s the teamwork behind the scenes that helps make days like these possible, and boy the organisers did an incredible job- they even managed to keep the sun in the sky for us.

A privilege to work alongside such a skilled group of professionals and support those who serve.

See you all next year 🏟️🏉

I often get asked a lot of questions about cupping, most of the time it is because clients are curious after seeing athletes on TV with ‘the purple circles’ on their legs or backs

Cupping therapy has been used for centuries to help support circulation, relieve muscle tension, and promote recovery. And no — those marks are not bruises. 👏

Bruises come from impact or injury, while cupping marks are caused by suction drawing stagnant blood and fluids closer to the surface of the skin. The color and intensity can vary from person to person and usually fade within a few days though sometimes a little longer

Think of it as your body’s response to increased circulation and healing. 💆‍♀️✨

Who’s curious and would like to give cupping therapy a try?

Always doing whatever I can do make recovery and rehab as accessible as possible. Whether that’s having the little ones around, or the not so little ones too 🤣

No matter what everyone should have access to something that is going to improve their quality of life and their health

Sciatica isn’t a condition or an injury

Now a fair few people might get annoyed at that, but it’s true. If you look up what the NHS tells you sciatica is, it explains it is the pain caused by an irritated nerve. Ergo it’s a symptom of something else

So my question to you, what’s causing your sciatic pain?

Because I can guarantee you, your gp gave you no indication as to what is actually causing it. If they did they possibly blamed weight and exercise routine (possible but not the most common of causes)

I can also guarantee you if it’s at the extreme level of pain they threw some heavy dose painkillers at you, and if you’re lucky they put you on the waiting list for physio- a waitlist that seems to go on forever

Up to 40% of people in the uk will get sciatic pain at some point in their life, and if you’ve had it once there’s high chance you develop it again

If you’ve got sciatic pain and the drs aren’t helping then reach out to me

If you’ve got sciatic pain and you’re on a long physio waiting list then reach out to me

If your sciatic pain is impacting your daily life then contact me

I want to make my services as available as possible to everyone. So I’ll be here when you are ready

**side note. “It’s just age” is not an answer to why you have aches and pains 😂
