Our Pelton Fell site will be Closed on Tuesday 11th August and will reopen as usual on Wednesday 12th August. You will still be able to post prescription requests through the post box at Pelton Fell and these will be processed on the Wednesday when it reopens.

When a patient fails to attend an appointment or gives less than 24 hours’ notice to cancel an appointment, is recorded as a did not attend (DNA).

Unfortunately we had 214 DNA's last month. If you are needing to cancel your appointment please contact us on 0191 3700 500 and press option 3.

Did you know that the practice is now being charged to send text messages?

Downloading the NHS App and turning Notifications 'on' allows the Surgery to send messages free of charge. It is important to note that these messages need to be viewed within 24 hours or it will be automatically resent as a text and is therefore chargeable.

This is just one simple step you can take towards supporting the NHS and our Practice!

We understand if you do not have a smartphone and cannot download the NHS App. We will continue to contact you in the usual way.
