Caerphilly and District Agility Show! I will be doing FREE muscular health checks for your dogs and giving free advice/ recommendations to competitors.

If you are an existing client or have obtained veterinary consent I can treat your dog at the show - please message for more information!

I will be competing my own dog so if I'm not around please be patient, I will be back as soon as possible 🫣

Canine massage can help your dog in so many different ways, from treating fascial adhesions and muscle tightness, to stimulating the parasympathetic nervous system and promote relaxation and healing.

Although your dog may be perfectly sound and fit, they can’t always tell us when something hurts, this comes out in other ways.

The pivotal sign your dog may benefit from a clinical massage treatment is if they are not performing as they should, whether it be in their sport or in every day life:
- Refusing to jump into the car
- Slower than usual on walks
- Skipping weave poles in agility
- Not turning as tight on the box in Flyball
- Showing displacement when asked to perform

The show season is well under way, and whether your dog is a newbie or veteran, massage and conditioning can help your dog on its path to becoming a champion!

Together, canine conditioning and massage therapy can help improve your dog’s performance, speed and recovery, whilst helping to reduce their risk of injury.

A new block of conditioning classes will begin soon, on a Monday in Pencoed. All dogs can benefit: competing dogs, those recovering from injury or even puppies.

This week marks another 2 groups of dogs completing our canine conditioning course 🥳

These dogs have significantly:

- Increased body strength (especially hindlimb and core strength!)
- Improved proprioception and co ordination
- Increased flexibility and mobility

These classes are brilliant for improving their physical fitness but also providing great mental stimulation too.

We’ve had sporting dogs, puppies, senior dogs and dogs with diagnosed conditions complete the course and they’ve all benefited massively!

Our next course will begin end of April, please message if you are interested 🐾🐾
