📢 Clinic Holiday Notice

Due to annual staff holidays, the clinic will be closed from Monday 11th May until Saturday 16th May. The next clinic day after this closure will be Wednesday 20th May.

During this time, Ying (Podiatrist) and Marc (Practice Manager) will be in Wales, where Marc will be working as a Medium in six Spiritualist Churches over the 11-day period.

The Penicuik Clinic will still be open on Tuesday 12th May and Tuesday 19th May during this time.

Penicuik has officially gone full “Foot Express” and is now fully booked until the middle of June. If you’re trying to get in there, you’re basically dealing with rush-hour levels of feet.

Peebles is busy as well, but still has some availability if you move quickly.

Keep checking the system. As soon as the three-day reminders go out at the start of the week, appointments shift, cancel, and reappear. That’s when spaces open up — it’s first come, first served.

Given the number of new patients coming through right now, booking in advance is the safest option.

Receptionist Required – Penicuik Podiatrist Clinic

We are looking for a receptionist to join our team at the Penicuik Podiatrist Clinic for two days a week.

We operate two clinics, in Penicuik and Peebles, and this role will be based in Penicuik while supporting the day-to-day running of both clinics.

This is a front-facing role where you will be:

Welcoming and assisting patients coming into the clinic
Making outgoing calls to patients
Booking and managing appointments across both locations

The position is offered at National Minimum Wage for an initial four-month period, followed by a performance assessment.

We are looking for someone who is:

Comfortable dealing with people in person and on the phone
Organised and reliable
Confident using basic computer systems

We had a power cut this morning at the clinic. We could not even get in as the shutter was er firmly closed.

Office now operational but Kim obviously went home. Everyone is having their appointments switched to Monday. Please use the links to reschedule if you need to.

We took over the management of Bob Main’s clinic in Peebles on Monday 29th. This is one of several changes happening across our clinics at the moment.

Staffing updates (next ~6 weeks):
Kim and Ying are changing some of the behind-the-scenes work they do, which means their clinic days may be unpredictable. For the next month and a half we may not be able to guarantee who will be in which clinic on specific days.

Appointments:
We’re currently fully booked until around mid-February. If you’re trying to book, please check our online booking daily—appointments do sometimes become available when reminders go out 3 days before.

This applies to both Penicuik and Peebles, although we currently have more availability in Peebles.

We took over the management of Bob Main's clinic on Monday 29th. We are not going to be able to have any treatments in his clinic as planned as the work required is more than first thought.

We are phoning everyone overt the next two weeks, but for the moment if you have a booking at 9 Northgate please go to 1 Tweeddale Garage our main clinic at the same time and day.

To avoid any confusion you will be phoned from our number 01968 705097. If you need to contact us use the same number and choose option 1 and leave a message.

We are making several changes to the phones, Bob's Peebles number is being taken over but we expect it to be the end of next week before it is set up.
