🎨👙 A Splash of Creativity This Afternoon! 👙🎨

This afternoon our residents and staff had great fun putting their creativity to the test by designing their very own swimsuits! With plenty of colourful ideas, patterns and laughter, each design was unique and full of personality.

The fun didn’t stop there – our wonderful staff, along with some of our residents, proudly modelled the fabulous creations in a light-hearted fashion show for everyone to enjoy! 😄

To make things even more exciting, our Manager and Deputy Manager had the important job of judging the designs and voting for the overall winner. Congratulations to our winning swimsuit designers Ina & Zoe! 🏆👏

It was an afternoon filled with smiles, laughter, creativity and lots of team spirit – proving that you’re never too old to enjoy a bit of fashion fun! 💙

This morning, our Activities Coordinator, Sarah, brought along her twins for a very special visit to the home. The twins delighted everyone with a fun-filled dance performance that had our residents smiling, clapping along and thoroughly enjoying every moment.

After the show, they spent time chatting with residents, handing out plenty of cuddles and high fives, bringing even more laughter and happiness to the day. It was a heartwarming visit that brightened everyone’s spirits and created some truly special memories ❤️

💅 We are delighted to welcome Theresa, our new Beauty Therapist, to the team here at Glencorse!💅

Nette was first in the door this morning getting her nails done.

Our residents can now enjoy a little extra pampering in the comfort of our on-site salon, where Theresa will be offering a range of relaxing and confidence-boosting treatments, including hair styling, nail care, and soothing massages.

These sessions are a wonderful opportunity for residents to relax, feel refreshed, and enjoy some well-deserved self-care. Whether it’s a fresh hairstyle, beautifully painted nails, or a calming massage, Theresa is looking forward to helping our residents look and feel their very best.

If you are joining us for our Summer Fair today please avoid parking in our car park as we have a fire engine coming to visit for the kids so we require the space.

We also have a face painter and other stalls such as crafts, home baking etc.
