One thing I notice a lot when talking to people about the nervous system:
Most people already know what’s stressing them.
It’s not a mystery.@
It’s the job.
The relationship.
Money worries.
Family pressures.
Caring for others.
The house.
The constant demands.
The uncertainty.
The things they carry every day.

The problem is that many people can’t just change those things overnight.

A lot of advice sounds great in theory:

“Leave the situation.”
“Set better boundaries.”
“Get more sleep.”
“Reduce stress.”

But real life isn’t always that simple.

Sometimes you’re doing the best you can with the situation you’re in.

So instead of trying to change everything, sometimes it helps to make one small thing easier.

One less thing on the to-do list.

One meal you don’t have to think about.

One person who feels safe to talk to.

One short walk.

One tidy corner of a room.

One boundary.

One moment of quiet.

It won’t fix everything.

But it can give your mind and body a little breathing space.

And sometimes that’s enough to remind you that life isn’t only stress.

Sometimes change starts with the smallest things, not because they’re big enough to solve the problem, but because they’re manageable enough to do today. 💛 message me if I can help

Behind the scenes of creating our next Women’s Circle ✨ 🥀⭕️What many people don’t see is that these events start weeks before the actual day. Today was all about planning, sharing ideas, refining the experience and making sure every detail helps create a meaningful evening for the women who attend. From activities and refreshments to the flow of the evening and the little finishing touches, we’re busy preparing something special.

💔No pain comes close to losing a mum, or any parent. As another year passes, the world keeps moving. Clients still need appointments. The Somerset salon still needs attention. The business still needs running. The pets still need feeding and caring for. The house still needs looking after. The school runs still need doing and football training still goes ahead along with 9 other million things . Life continues to place demands upon us, even on the days when our hearts feel heavy. Yet grief doesn’t work to society’s schedule. Anniversaries don’t arrive with a pause button for the rest of the world. Sometimes we are expected to carry on as though it were just another day, while quietly holding memories, love, and loss in our hearts. Today marks four years since I watched my mum take her last breath. Some days the grief is softer, some days it catches me unexpectedly, but the love remains exactly the same. So today I’m reminding myself that it’s okay to be gentle. It’s okay to slow down where I can. It’s okay to remember. It’s okay to miss her. If you’re carrying the loss of a parent or someone you love, please know you’re not alone. Love doesn’t end when a life does. It simply changes shape and continues to live within us. 💙✨
