Due to staff leave and illness the practice will be closing early on Friday 22nd October at 12 noon and will reopen at 9:30am on Tuesday 26th October. We apologise for any inconvenience caused.

We are now able to see patients for routine sight tests so if your appointment was delayed because of COVID-19 please call for an appointment.

To keep everyone safe we are still operating a closed door policy so please call us first. We've had our first COVID vaccinations and are having regular lateral flow tests.

The practice is now closed until 9:30am on Tuesday 5th January. If you have an eye emergency please call NHS 111 for advice.

I am now offering sight tests on most days from Tuesday to Saturday. To maintain safe social distancing all visits to the practice are by appointment only. If you need to see me please telephone the practice and leave a message. At present I am prioritising patients who feel there has been a change in their vision and those who have lost or broken their glasses.

You can order contact lenses. Our preferred method of supply is by post to your home address.

Coronavirus Update

On account of the Coronavirus emergency we can no longer see patients for routine eye examinations. We can see you if there is urgent clinical need and we can give advice over the phone. Please do not attend the practice without a pre-booked appointment.

We can still supply contact lenses but delivery will be direct to your home address.

I will be contacting our patients who have already ordered spectacles. We are allowed to take new orders for spectacles but only when the need is urgent (e.g. lost or broken).
