We gathered today as a team to celebrate a very special milestone at our practice. After an incredible career, Dr Carlos has officially retired!For the past 5 years, it has been an absolute privilege and a wonderful experience working alongside him.
His dedication to our patients, his warmth, and his guidance have left a lasting impact on our entire team.
Dr Carlos, thank you for everything you have given to our practice.
We are going to miss you immensely, but we are so excited to see what your next chapter brings.

🥁On Saturday 4 July, a parade will take place in the city centre to mark the 100th Anniversary of Preston's Cenotaph and the 20th anniversary of the Duke of Lancaster’s Regiment.

The route of the Parade can be seen in the map.

🚧 The Parade will incur temporary road closures from 10am, with some remaining closed until 1pm, affecting parts of: Fishergate, Church Street, Friargate, Market Place, Lancaster Road, Lord Street, Tithebarn Street and surrounding city centre roads.

Diversion routes will be in place and access will be maintained for emergency services.

Please allow extra time for your journey and plan ahead if travelling into the city centre.

There are some great shopping opportunities coming up at Priory Lane Community Centre (Priory Lane, PR1 0AR).

First up, on Tuesday 16th June, is the regular Mini-Market. Hosting local traders and craftspeople, the market is held on the 3rd Tuesday of most months. Stalls often include skincare products, clothing, and knitted and wooden crafts. Opening hours are 10:45am – 3pm.

Then, on Tuesday 23rd June, Rebuild With Hope are bringing their community sales back to Priory Lane. Selling new high street goods at major discounts, Rebuild With Hope raise funds to help people overcome barriers to work. There can be some awesome bargains, but we recommend getting there early, as this is a popular sale. Opening hours are 11am – 1:30pm.

On both days, community library will be open to browse our books, enjoy a nice sit down, and get a free brew from our fantastic volunteers.
