🚨 URGENT ANNOUNCEMENT 🚨

It has come to our attention that somewhere within the walls of Swansea Terrace… a Golden Ticket is still on the loose. 🍫🎫

Today’s National Milk Chocolate Day celebrations included Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, lots of chocolate and ONE very special Golden Ticket hidden inside a chocolate bar…

Hours later… still no winner.

Either someone has a chocolate bar hidden in their room, someone’s saving it for later, or (most likely) it’s already been eaten without anyone noticing. 😂

If you’ve still got your chocolate bar, now’s the time to check. You might just be sitting on Swansea Terrace’s very own Golden Ticket! 🍫✨

At Swansea Terrace there’s nothing which delights us more than smiles on both our resident’s and staff faces. 😊
The nostalgic sounds of the ice cream van sparks fond memories for all and the past couple of days has been so much fun creating this little novelty with our creative team 🤣
The lights, the orchestra, the set and the interval treats…. Oh wait sorry getting a bit carried away there! 🫣🎼😆

On Monday, we had the absolute pleasure of welcoming our Armed Forces veteran bugler Darryl, along with Mel, our wonderful Community Veteran Champion, into our home. 💙

They gave a really inspiring talk about Darryl’s time serving in the Armed Forces, the commitments he still proudly takes part in, and the many events where he has the honour of playing his bugle.

Hearing Darryl play for our residents made for such a beautiful afternoon. Listening to the Last Post live was incredibly moving and definitely brought a tear to a few eyes. ❤️

Residents had the opportunity to ask questions, and the visit sparked some heartfelt conversations and reminiscing, with many sharing memories and stories inspired by the afternoon.

We absolutely love welcoming our community into our home, and this visit was one we’ll all remember for a long time. A huge thank you to Darryl and Mel for making it so special. 🇬🇧🎖️🎶🎺🎼

What a lovely evening we had at Swansea Terrace last night! ❤️⚽

We all got together to watch the match on the big screen, with our faces painted, plenty of nibbles and drinks, and lots of fun in our selfie booth! 📸

There was so much laughter, chatting and cheering throughout the evening. Even though the result wasn’t the one we were hoping for, it certainly didn’t spoil the atmosphere. It was wonderful seeing everyone come together, making memories and enjoying each other’s company.

🌟 What a WEEK at Swansea Terrace Care Home! 🇬🇧❤️🤍💙

What a lovely, laughter-filled week we’ve had here at Swansea Terrace Care Home, full of sunshine, smiles, and special moments 🌞💛

We’ve been out enjoying beautiful sunny walks down the docks 🌊✨ with a cheeky little Sprite from McD’s to keep us going 😄🥤 — little moments like that just make the day!

Prize Twister was a proper giggle 🎯🎁 with everyone getting stuck in, plenty of laughs, and some fab goodies won along the way!

We had the sweetest cuddles from Toby and Ginger. Our staff’s pets and what a treat 🐶

A really proud and emotional moment for our veteran Harry 🇬🇧✨ as he received his medal — made even more special as our community veterans came along to celebrate with him ❤️🤍💙

We’ve been keeping active and smiling with G Fitness 💪😄 — always a brilliant boost and full of energy!

The music and glow circle was an absolute vibe ✨🎶💃 — full of fun, laughter, and feel-good moments!

And residents and staff became very giddy over our cheeky tattoos 🎨😄 — lots of smiles and plenty of fun!

We are incredibly proud to share with you something absolutely beautiful to bring even more sunshine to your day. 🇬🇧☀️🇬🇧

We are full of emotion seeing our Veteran friendly home connect with community and impact the life of our wonderful Veteran resident Harry. 🥰
We cannot wait to wait to see more veterans recognised and loved back to life by the powerful communications between ourselves and our community veteran Champion David Abbott and hidden voices.
