Do you journal?

I’ve always been a big believer in journaling, and it’s something I often encourage my clients to do.

When I was deep in my own healing journey, journaling was a daily ritual, a space to untangle my thoughts, meet my emotions honestly, and find clarity in the chaos. These days, I don’t do it as often. But recently, I found myself facing a really tricky situation. Some old wounds resurfaced, and once again, the page became my safe place. Writing helped me process what was stirring inside, and in doing so, I felt something shift. I was able to let it go.

Sometimes, putting into words what you wish you could say to someone is the most healing thing you can do, especially when saying it out loud would only create more conflict, misunderstanding, or pain.

So, I write it down.
I release it.
I let it go.

What you hear your anxiety telling you:

💔 You’re not good enough
💯 You didn’t give 100%
😫You’re not smart enough

What you hear matters. 💜

Anxiety isn’t trying to harm you; it’s trying to protect you from doing things that could put you in danger. But truthfully, if you listened to it all the time, you’d never try anything new.

What if there was a way to recognise that this continuous white noise of fear was just your nervous system doing its job a little too well? A way to acknowledge the anxiety but move past it? 🧠

Let’s explore it together and see if we can transform that negative one-way voice into a two-way neutral conversation. 🗣️

Midlife crisis? Or midlife awakening?

Why does ‘midlife crisis’ get such a bad rap?
We hear the term and picture someone buying a sports car, changing their hair, or running off to Bali.

But what if it’s not a crisis at all?
What if it’s the moment you finally stop caring about what people think,
and start caring about what you want.

It’s not about losing your mind.
It’s about finding yourself.
About saying “no” more often.
About doing what makes you happy…without guilt.

Maybe it’s not the end of something…
Maybe it’s the beginning of everything.

I know the feeling well. 💜

Constant frustration at the chaotic thoughts. The way you feel distracted whenever you try to focus. It leaves you asking the question:

“Why can’t my brain just work like everyone else’s?!” 😩

But you’re not everyone else, you’re you. 🤗

Your ADHD brain does ADHD things and that’s OK. It’s about finally understanding why your brain feels “different” and finding ways to work with it instead of against it. 🧠

That’s exactly what I help you do during an ADHD coaching session. Whether you’re exploring if ADHD traits resonate with you, you have a new diagnosis, or have been diagnosed for most of your life, you’re welcome through my door.

Because every brain has potential. Sometimes you just need a helping hand to unlock it. 🗝️

Are you familiar with this pattern? 🤔

There's plenty of time, so you don't start a task…
Days pass and you don’t do anything…
Fast forward to the night before and the adrenaline kicks in worrying about whether you’ll complete the task on time…
You get it done and feel a buzz from getting it done but you're exhausted…
Do it all again next week (despite promising yourself you won’t! 🔂)

Lots of people are so familiar with this pattern that it’s their default; that comfy pair of slippers that you can’t quite bring yourself to throw out even though you know wearing them is terrible for your back. 🥿

Like the slippers, being tangled up in this pattern is doing you more harm than good even if you can’t feel it yet.

Lots of people choose to ignore it because they think that admitting it means they’re admitting to being lazy and irresponsible. They’re not. 🩵

They’re admitting that they’re brain struggles to initiate tasks without pressure but that they’re exhausted by it.

You don’t lack willpower. You just need to explore why you’re following this pattern and develop practical strategies to help you cope with it.

That’s where I come in. 💪

If you feel like you’re living life by going through the motions, chances are your brain has switched into autopilot mode. 🛬

🎭Put simply autopilot is when you stop living life and start performing it instead.

When you’re on autopilot, you’ve become so caught up in the routine of life that you’ve stopped actually being present. It’s a disconnect between who you are and what you’re doing and can feel like your sense of self has left the conversation entirely.

Head over to my latest blog post to discover practical tips and advice to help you stop living life on autopilot and start living as yourself again. 💜
