Comment ‘friend’ below to join our growing community of kind women 🩷

Maybe you don’t need more motivation.
Maybe you just need a movement community that was actually built for you. 🤍

For so long, wellness has told us to push harder.

Move more.
Do more.
Become a better version of yourself.

But what if movement wasn’t about proving anything?

What if it was about rebuilding trust in your body?

That’s why I created The Kind Movement Club.

A Cornwall-based community for women who don’t feel like they fit into mainstream fitness.

Women living with health conditions, disability, grief, anxiety, burnout, low confidence—or anyone who simply wants movement to feel kinder.

Here, movement isn’t the goal.

It’s the vehicle.

The outcome is confidence.
Connection.
Community.
And trusting your body again.

Through gentle walks, social events and a growing community of women who simply get it, we’re creating a different kind of wellness space.

One where you can show up exactly as you are.

No pressure.
No comparison.
No “push through it” culture.

Just kindness, connection and movement that meets you where you are.

🤍 If this feels like the community you’ve been searching for, comment FRIEND below and I’ll send you everything you need to join our growing community and hear about our latest walks and events.

Hi everyone 💛

Have you ever wanted to join a movement or wellness community... and then felt like none of them were actually built for you?

Not the "no modifications for chronic illness," not the "push through it" energy, not the assumption that everyone's starting from the same place.

I'm building The Kind Movement Club, a space designed specifically for women with health conditions, chronic illness, grief, or mental health challenges. Before I build it, I want to know what you need from it.

Takes 5–7 minutes, fully optional questions, no pressure. Your voice shapes what this becomes 💛

When I started The Kind Movement Club, I honestly had no idea whether anyone would come. I didn’t even have a booking system. I just stood at a chosen meeting point and waited…

And amazingly we had a beautiful bunch of women turn up from all over Cornwall. All strangers, but by the end connected with friendships forming. ☺️

Fast forward a few months and our June walk filled up in just 3 days. 🫶

What makes me happiest isn’t the numbers though. If just one person turned up it would have been worth it.

But for me, it’s seeing people arrive feeling nervous and leave having made new connections, shared stories and realised they’re not alone.

Our July walks are now here and ready to book!

I’d love to welcome you along.

These walks are designed for people who want movement to feel kind, not competitive.

Whether you’re managing a health condition, neurodivergent, rebuilding confidence, feeling isolated, or simply looking for some lovely humans to walk with, you’re welcome here.

📍 Saturday 11th July
Trelissick to Roundwood Quay
10:15am

📍 Sunday 26th July
Penzance Promenade
10:30am

All details are within the booking link and final meeting points will be disclosed via email a few days before the walk.

💛 Free to attend
💛 Adults only (well behaved dogs on leads allowed)
💛 No pressure to keep up
💛 Come exactly as you are

And if this group doesn’t feel the right fit for you, but for someone you know, please share this with them! Our goal is to support as many women who need this as possible.

Comment ‘WALK’ below and I’ll DM you the links to these new relaxing Cornwall connection walks ☺️

Today I went for a walk at Treen, one of my favourite spots here in Cornwall. 🌊

It’s the kind of place many people visit to tackle a big coastal hike, clock up the miles and challenge themselves.

But that wasn’t why I was there.

I was there for the sea views, the fresh air, the wildflowers, a catch-up with a friend and a piece of cake at the end.

Somewhere along the way, we’ve been taught that movement only “counts” if it’s hard. If you’re out of breath, pushing your limits or walking further than you did last time.

But what if movement could simply be enjoyable?

What if it could be slow, gentle and on your terms?

For so many people in our community, putting on their shoes and getting outside is a huge achievement. Whether that’s a 10-minute stroll around the block or a wander along the coast.

Every step counts.

Not because of the distance you cover, but because you showed up for yourself. 💛

What’s your favourite local spot for a gentle walk?

Trying to live like someone without health conditions nearly broke me.

After my heart transplant at 20, I was so desperate to feel “normal” again that I pushed myself into jobs, routines and lifestyles my body just couldn’t keep up with.

Full-time work.
Late nights.
Constantly being “on.”
Trying to prove I was capable.

Meanwhile behind the scenes, I was exhausted.

Doctors appointments. Medication side effects. Brain fog. Burnout. Anxiety. Days where concentrating felt impossible.

But because I looked “fine,” I felt like I had to keep explaining myself to people who would never fully understand what was happening inside my body.

And eventually I realised something:

I was using every bit of energy trying to survive work… and had nothing left for myself.

Nothing left for joy, connection, movement, creativity or rest.

So in 2023, I decided to work for myself and slowly start building a life that actually worked with my health instead of against it.

And honestly, I’ve stopped treating rest like failure now.

My life is slower these days. Gentler. More intentional.

I pace myself more.
I leave earlier.
I rest more.
I say no more.
And weirdly… my world feels bigger because of it.

If you’ve been struggling to keep up with a world that wasn’t built for bodies like ours, I just want you to know:

There are other ways to live 🤍
