The soap sponge revolution is happening!

It’s been such a pleasure to have been in the shop to see curious customers become soap sponge regulars in the short time we’ve been open. At the start there were lots of confused faces & questions but once people have tried one, they keep coming back for more. It’s not just the eye-catching colours and the gorgeous scents attracting people to these, it’s the fact that once you get used to using one, you’ll never feel clean without one again ✨

Here you guys go again with your reviews that make me cry 😭 thank you so much Allyson! As someone who suffers regular menty b’s due to confidence crisis- I mean it when I say your reviews mean everything! Thank you for putting a spring in my step on this fine Tuesday morning! I had my first proper sea swim in years last night so together with this, I feel like a new woman today! 😍🌊

The shop has officially been open for 3 months! 🥹 thank you so much to every single person who’s popped in. It’s so great seeing customers in real life now! Thank you so much to anyone who’s been so incredibly patient this week waiting for their order. It’s still a bit warm & stuffy BUT I believe we are back in the safe zone for sending parcels so I will be getting on with dispatching when I’m in the shop tomorrow.

✨ GENERAL UPDATE ✨

I’m fairly up to date with packing orders HOWEVER if you’re currently waiting for your order, I’m going to keep them with me for the next few days whilst this heatwave passes. I understand it may be frustrating to wait a few more days for your order but I don’t want it to arrive to you melted and ruined as that wouldn’t be ideal for either of us. To protect your hard earned pennies and my sanity, the best course of action is for me to hold fire. All it would take is for the parcels to be left in a hot Royal Mail van all day and your wax melts would be ruined 🥺

In other news the perfumes and aftershaves have been RESTOCKED 💫 these have picked away nicely on the website but they also seem to be gaining attention in the shop too with lots of local customers awaiting their return. We’ve got testers here as well so if you just want to come in and try them out- be my guest ♥️

I’m in the shop this evening attempting some making but I don’t think it’s going to go well in this heat 😂 hope you’re all staying cool and keeping safe. Lots of love!

I met another one of my online customers yesterday and again, it was such a surreal moment. The idea of people going out of their way to visit my shop just blows my mind 🤯 thank you so much to you and your family Isla- it was so great to meet you all and have a good chinwag about the wax world 😜

Orders are taking about a week to dispatch at the moment, thank you all for bearing with me. I will also be keeping an eye on the heat as it’s due to get hot here this coming week 🥵 if it gets too much I’ll hold orders with me until it cools down so they’re not arriving in liquid form 🙃
