OCT - Optical Coherence Tomography - is an advanced eye scan for people of all ages. Similar to ultrasound, OCT uses light rather than sound waves to image the different layers that make up the structures at the front and the back of your eye.

This scan checks for:

👁️ Vitreous detachments

Meet our expert Optometry team in Falmouth. 👁️

Sophie is one of our Optometrists in Falmouth and has been part of the team since the practice was established. She has a particular professional interest in glaucoma, paediatrics, and low vision care, helping patients make the most of their sight. Sophie also holds the College of Optometrists Professional Certificate in Glaucoma.
Outside of work, Sophie enjoys spending time outdoors, with special passion for cycling.

Julianne has worked in optics for over 30 years, with experience spanning both hospital Optometry and private practice. Having lived and worked in Falmouth for the past 20 years, she is delighted to now be part of a small, family-run team.
Working with us part time, Julianne spends her free time sea swimming year-round (even in the winter!), running along the coast path, and sewing on rainy days.
