My new therapy room at Pershore Town hall. Still on the top floor, and newly refurbished. Might need to treat myself to a new plant 🪴 on the table, as my little succulent is not doing well.

It’s been far too long I’ve been away from watersedge swimming 🏊. I say ‘swimming’ …. I don’t do much of that. Watching the dragonflies, and wildlife and cooling off. Saw a nuthatch 🐦 bird and the heron left me a feather 🪶. I shall be sticking the 🪶 in my journal 📓. All sorts goes in there :) Take it easy everyone….

Whoop 🙌 Here’s my new air conditioning unit for the therapy room, so ready for the next heatwave. Client comfort being my priority (plus I’m well happy 😃 , as I’m not a fan of extreme heat 🥵).

I’ve had a treat day out of the therapy room today, and been to Chelsea Flower Show. Never been before, and my mind boggles with the scale and amount of the flowers 🌺. Very busy though, and tbh, you can see the show gardens on the TV 📺 just as well. Make time 🕰️ for what you love ❤️…. And a bunch of peonies and some rose 🌹 tea 🫖 are in my bag….

More news 📰 you can use…. Buy these papers (star or Mirror etc) and get 🆓 tickets 🎟️ to English Heritage sites until mid June (not including Stonehenge). Great 😊 time 🕰️ to get outdoors on the cheap.

It’s wild 😝 and windy out there today. Last of the 3 mornings of sharing my knowledge of compassion focus therapy, and setting up and working in practice with the counselling psychotherapy students. I really enjoyed it, and it pushed me a bit; facing the students, instead of being the other side of the the desk, learning :)

A Wychavon community health champion who was left suicidal after her menopause symptoms were misdiagnosed is sharing her story to help others.

Sally will speak at Wychavon’s ‘Story of Hope’ Workshop as part of the Wellbeing in Wychavon scheme. The aim is to help deepen understanding, reduce stigma, and ensure our community feels more informed and supported.

The workshop is open to the public and health professionals but places must be booked.

Tickets are free but spaces are running out quickly so don't delay.

Sharing my knowledge of CFT (compassion focus therapy) and demonstrating how it works to the counselling students. Was lovely 🥰 to be on the other side of the desk today at my old uni. Had a wander round the beautifully kept gardens while I was there.
