πŸ”Ž ADHD Medication Reviews – We Need Your Help πŸ”Ž

We've been contacted by some families who are concerned that their child's ADHD medication is not being reviewed as regularly as it should be.

National guidance says that children and young people taking ADHD medication should have a specialist medication review at least once a year.

We'd like to understand whether this is an isolated issue or something affecting more families across Worcestershire.

πŸ’Š If your child or young person takes ADHD medication, we'd be grateful if you could tell us:

βœ… How often is their medication reviewed? βœ… When was their last review? βœ… Who carries out the review? βœ… Have you ever had to chase for an appointment? βœ… Have you experienced any delays or problems accessing reviews?

Please contact us at [email protected]

πŸ“’ We're particularly interested in hearing from families whose child has gone longer than 12 months without a medication review.

Your experiences can help us raise concerns with local services and ensure children and young people receive appropriate support.

πŸ’™ Thank you for sharing your experiences.

βœ… Common signs and symptoms of cancer
βœ… NHS cancer screening programmes
βœ… Cancer prevention and healthy lifestyle choices
βœ… How to talk confidently about cancer and encourage people to seek support when needed

By becoming a Community Cancer Champion, you could help raise awareness, encourage earlier diagnosis and make a positive difference in your local community. πŸ’™

πŸšΉπŸ’™ Could YOU help shape the future of prostate cancer care? πŸ’™πŸšΉ

The NHS has launched a major new research programme, Prostate Progress, and will be inviting 500,000 men who have or have had prostate cancer to take part. The aim is to improve early detection, develop better treatments, and help future generations of men live longer, healthier lives.

πŸ”¬ By sharing their experiences and allowing researchers to securely link this information with NHS records, participants can help unlock new insights into prostate cancer and improve care for thousands of men in the future.

⚠️ Did you know?
β€’ Prostate cancer is now the most common cancer in the UK.
β€’ Around 60,000 new cases are diagnosed each year.
β€’ Black men are approximately twice as likely to develop prostate cancer, making their participation in research especially important.

πŸ“© If you receive an invitation from the NHS, please consider taking part. Your experience could help improve diagnosis, treatment, and support for future generations.

πŸ’™ Every story matters. πŸ’™ Every voice counts. πŸ’™ Together, we can help change the future of prostate cancer care.
