What a great opportunity to speak at this event, hear about other support services across Herefordshire & Worcestershire all working towards "Connected Support for Better Mental Health" organised by Herefordshire and Worcestershire Wellbeing and Recovery College

An enormous Thank You to everyone that attended the 'Connected Support for Better Mental Health' event yesterday at the Worcestershire County Cricket ground.

To all the wonderful partners, organisations and attendee's that turned up, presented, joined in with the activities and most importantly of all, Connected with others to share knowledge of all of the wonderful services that are available in our two great counties!

Initial feedback shows that 100% of attendee's connected with organisations they were not aware of, or found out more about a service or organisation that they did not know and are now armed to share the good word and spread this new information!!!

As Henry Ford Once said ""Coming together is a beginning; keeping together is progress; working together is success."

We are genuinely delighted and so thankful for all that attended and made this event such a huge success!!

Our next support group session is on Wednesday 20th May 2026 at Worcester Fire Station, 1.30pm to 3.30pm.
No cost to attend, free tea, coffee and soft drinks.
Come for the whole session or just half an hour, we don't mind.
Our support groups are a safe space for people with hoarding behaviours. Family and friends supporting someone with hoarding behaviours are also welcome.

This explanation by Dr Julie describes what can happen for some people when hoarding behaviours of excessive acquiring or inability to let go of items creates a space full of items, there can be a certain numbness to seeing all the items around them.

However, this video is a great way to describe what can happen for some people with hoarding behaviours as they start the process of decluttering their home.
